The 2021 edition of CIFIT（China International Fair for Investment & Trade）, which will be held from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, has started attracting exhibitors for its exhibition.
The exhibition will occupy 130,000 square meters and includes three areas for investment promotion, investment service and industries.
The 2020 CIFIT attracted 1,018 trading groups, including 248 overseas enterprises from 69 countries and regions.
The investment promotion area is expected to showcase investment information about Chinese cities, provinces, and municipalities, foreign countries and regions as well as various industrial parks.
Over 2,300 deals worth more than 800 billion yuan ($117 billion) were signed during the 2020 CIFIT.
The investment service area will gather investment service institutions and financial institutions while the industries area will display cutting-edge technologies, new products and development trends in areas such as digital economy, artificial intelligence, smart city, biomedicine, and industrial internet.
The 2021 edition will focus on investment and innovation.
