On February 9, President Xi Jinping presided over the China-CEEC Summit and delivered a keynote speech. Before the summit, the Ministry of Commerce and the economic and trade departments of the four countries of Albania, Czech Republic, Hungary and Serbia signed four cooperation documents on the establishment of the investment cooperation and trade promotion mechanism, which were included in the list of summit outcomes.
China will establish working groups on investment cooperation with Albania and Serbia under the Joint Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Committee, and a working group on unimpeded trade with the Czech Republic under the Joint Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Committee, and work with Hungary to promote the high-quality development of China-Hungary investment cooperation. The signing of the above documents further enriches the economic and trade cooperation mechanism between China and CEECs and facilitates bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
