The 4th CIIE to be Held Offline in Shanghai as Scheduled!

With active participation and strong support from all parties, the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) successfully unveiled offline as scheduled. President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, fully affirming the important and positive role the CIIE plays. The 3rd CIIE was the largest online-offline exhibition attracting the greatest number of participating countries under the regular prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. It had an exhibition area of nearly 360,000 square meters, about 30, 000 square meters larger than that of the 2nd. At the 3rd CIIE, 411 products, technologies, and services were newly released, and 101 supporting activities were held intensively; meanwhile, nearly 400,000 buyers signed up for participation, and the intended turnover came to USD 72.6 billion. Besides, over 3,000 journalists at home and abroad signed up for interviews. All of these contributed to realize the expected results in a safe, splendid, and fruitful manner. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all friends who concern and support the CIIE!

The 4th CIIE will be held offline in Shanghai as scheduled from November 5 to 10, 2021. According to the plan, the Business Exhibition will continue to set up six major exhibition areas, namely the Food & Agricultural Products, Automobile, Intelligent Industry & Information Technology, Consumer Goods, Medical Equipment & Medical Care Products, and Trade in Services, providing an excellent exhibition platform for global enterprises and sharing opportunities in the Chinese market. As of now, hundreds of enterprises have signed up for participation in the 4th CIIE. We cordially welcome enterprises to actively sign up, continue to show interest and support to the CIIE, encourage more business partners to participate in the CIIE, thus achieving common development with it.
