the Information about the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo(CISCE)

Amidst the ongoing global technological revolution and industrial transformation, profound adjustments take place in the innovation landscape and economic structure worldwide. Currently, economic globalization faces headwinds, and the international supply chain encounters formidable challenges. The imperative for win-win cooperation among countries' business communities grows more pressing. Strengthening and consolidating global industrial and supply chain cooperation are the shared interests and urgent aspirations of all stakeholders.

As articulated by Chinese President Xi Jinping, safeguarding the resilience and stability of the global industrial and supply chains is pivotal to fostering global economic development. The CISCE stands as the world's premier national-level exhibition centered on the supply chain theme. China hosts this Expo in response to the call of the times, aiming to establish an international platform for fostering communication, enhancing cooperation, and pursuing development among all stakeholders.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of WTO, and other esteemed figures unanimously acknowledge that the establishment of the CISCE by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is timely and holds pioneering significance.

From November 28th to December 2nd, 2023, with robust support and participation from relevant stakeholders, the first CISCE unfolded successfully in Beijing. Chinese Premier Li Qiang graced the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address. Eighteen key international organizations served as supporting units or actively participated in various capacities.

515 enterprises from 55 countries and regions exhibited in event, with international exhibitors accounting 26% of the total, attracting over 150,000 visitors, and leading to the signing of more than 200 cooperation agreements and intentions, totaling over 20 billion US Dollars. Domestic and international exhibitors alike showcased their products under the theme of "chain", yielding substantial outcomes. A significant number of exhibitors expressed their eagerness to participate in the second CISCE and expand their exhibiting spaces.

The second CISCE is scheduled to be held in Beijing from November 26th to 30th this year. The total area of the CISCE spans 100,000 square meters, and all exhibiting spaces will be presented in customized design. For each chain, only 40-60 companies will be meticulously selected to participate.

Unlike traditional exhibitions, the CISCE does not allocate booths based on fixed pricing but rather selects exhibitors based on exhibition logic and the representativeness of companies. The overwhelming market demand has proved the value of the CISCE. As of now, more than 200 companies have confirmed their participation.

Observing the current global landscape, it's evident that the industrial chain and supply chain are undergoing significant transformations. Foremost among these changes is the rapid evolution of a new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation, characterized by advancements in information technology, artificial intelligence, and new energy. Digitization and greenization have emerged as primary directions for the transformation and upgrading of these chains. After careful research and deliberation, the second CISCE will maintain its five major chains, namely Clean Energy, Smart Vehicle, Digital Technology, Healthy Life, Green Agriculture and the Supply Chain Service Exhibition Area while introducing an Advanced Manufacturing Chain—a pivotal innovation for the event.

The second CISCE is going to be elevated into a higher-quality, more "chain-centric," thrilling, and impactful global economic and trade event, truly transforming the supply chain into a "win-win chain" for international cooperation! CCPIT extend sincere invitations to all to participate in the exhibition and forums, and eagerly anticipate your continued engagement.
